Robert Wells

Robert William Wells V, 54, was born January 25, 1968, in New Orleans, LA to Mary Margaret Cowart and Robert William Wells IV, and welcomed into this world by his sister Amy.

Robby had an incredible sense of humor and a loving heart as big as all outdoors. Those who knew him at an early age will remember his adventuresome spirit - jumping from an upstairs deck onto the limb of a tree or floating down a canal on an inflatable raft, and of course numerous games of find me if you can. All were leading him to an impressive highly decorated military career as an Airborne Ranger in the US Army. His service spanned the globe and included multiple combat and operational deployments. Even with his booming voice and physical presence, kindness is what one remembers most about Rob. He was a wonderful giving friend, always thinking of others.

Rob passed away on November 25, 2022, at his home in Park City, Utah surrounded by his family, Mary, Amy, and Patti. His beloved and faithful Jack Russell terriers Jack and Jill were close by his side. Close friends kept vigil throughout his last hours. MSG Robert W. Wells V was a dedicated Army Ranger and warrior for his country. He was a loving and compassionate gentle giant to his family and friends.
