Student Scholarship Program

The U.S. Mountain Ranger Association (USMRA) awards scholarships to recognize excellence in academics, leadership, service to community, and patriotism. Applicants must:

  • be the child or grandchild of a USMRA member.
  • be a graduating senior of a public, private, or home-school high school.
  • upload a nomination letter written by a USMRA member.
  • upload written verification of qualification for graduation from the qualifying school system.
  • upload an acceptance letter from an accredited college or other post secondary institution.
  • complete the online application

The application window will open on March 1, 2026. The deadline for completing and submitting the online application is March 29, 2026. Selected applicants will be notified on or about April 10.
