Bob Myhre

Robert "Bob" G. Myhre, 52, of Canton passed away Thursday, April 2, 2009, at his home after a courageous battle with cancer.

Bob was born Dec. 23, 1956, and graduated from Caledonia (Minn.) High School in 1975. Immediately following graduation, Bob went active in the United States Army, joining the 1st Battalion, 75th Infantry (Ranger) and was subsequently promoted to Noncommissioned Officer status and instructed Airborne Ranger students. After an honorable discharge in 1985, he joined the IBEW as a heavy equipment operator, working in the electrical and construction fields, and later worked at East Coast Terminal seaport in Savannah, Ga. In 1995, Bob entered the technological field of wireless telecommunications where he worked his way up from Tower Hand to Project Manager. He enjoyed the outdoors and riding his custom chopper, but most of all, he loved spending time with his family and friends.

Bob is survived by his wife, Tina DeMartini, and two daughters, Alexandra and Elizabeth, all of Canton
