Message: It's been forty years, but I still look at the weather reports for North Georgia and feel for those who are walking in it. Those were some long, cold nights. I know each of us has his own stories about those times, but for some reason, I just can't seem to get over it. Every time it snows or gets colder than normal, as has been the case lately, I am thankful for my own warm situation and mindful of those who are out in it. Bless 'em all. Rangers Lead the Way!

Message: Mike: the picture with KK's uniform, was in the Sunday Tennesean "Portfolio" section (paper copy). It is not in the online edition that I could find. The exhibit starts May 28. I hope to go on Aug 11. I think you live in the Nashville area like me. I live in La Vergne. Jim: Interesting that they had officer and enlisted platoons in the early 1960s. When I went through in class 11-85 we wore no rank and were mixed in together. If I had not told my classmates that I was a lieutenant, they would have never known. I have no idea how they do it now.
