Ref CSM Mixon he is alive and well, Doug ran into him at the PX when we were at Fort Bragg a couple weeks ago. The last time I saw General Mixon He was a Cpt on the IG team 3d ID. He came to inspect my company.We sat and had coffee for about an hour and shot the bull. He then said show me something so I can complete my inspection. For sure I got a great report. |

In talking w/ my B in Law, Gary Littrell(SP) was here recently and addressed some town folks along w/ another MOH guy. Sorry I missed him,have not seen him since May '71. Understand he's in FL someplace. Break, break, has anyone heard from Bobby Meadows lately? How's Earl Singletary doing? Sent him a card. Still remember the days of flying out of Wimpy's in his cessna and "trying" to skydive!!! Never could break the habit af 'Bending at the waist" when I pulled!!! Posted: 12/31/1969 Name: Robert Suchke Message: Ranger Ed Gross is scheduled for quadruple by-pass surgery on Thursday 25 August at St. Joseph's Hospital. As one of our most active members this comes as a big surprise to all. He is in good spirits and undergoing tests while awaiting the procedure. Please remember him in your thoughts and prayers to the "Big Ranger in the sky". I would not recommend visitation until after he is out of intensive care. I'll post an update when I have more information. Rangers Lead the way! |
