Posted: 12/31/1969 Name: Chuck Windham Secretary Message: Happy Thanksgiving to all you Rangers and Family. I don't know about you, but I can hardly wait for the aroma to completely fill the house! The USMRA held the monthly meeting on 6 NOV. at the Overhang. President Hawk called 17 attending Ranger to order at 1908hrs. Minutes were read, a Treasurer's report given, and both were accepted by the membership. The thank you cards were paid for, as it was voted to reimburse Mark for his layout. We are not broke, so our esteemed Treasurer is happy. The RHOF will be discussed by the RHOF committee at their next meeting on our sitting on the board as a voting member. SFG Nelson assisted our commmitte on getting our nomination(s) in this year. The members voted to increase our scholarships to $1000,00 each for next year. Bob Weiner, President of the Wingmen Motor Cycle Club stated that their Club will provide the increase to the scholarship fund each year. A lot of thank you's were noted to the Wingmen for supporting the USMRA. It was also noted that turkeys were delivered for those needing table dressing for the Holiday. A good meeting, which was adjourned at 2002hrs. |
