Message: Hey Jim, congratulations on your REAL retirement! Just a tip, the community that you reside in probably has a need for "Volunteers." Since my FINAL retirement, I have become a Volunteer; Drove a van for DAV, taking Folks in to VA for appointments, Reviewed cases of Children in Foster Care and took over as "Chair Person," drove bus/van for church, still drive church van bringing homeless guys in to church during the winter for food and shelter at night. I reckon that I feel that if I LIVE in a community, I must contribute to that community, just as I did in the Military. Good luck in your retirement, don't sit on your la, la. Stay active, vertical, and above the grass. Finally, thanks for your service, and thanks for the support that you must have gotten from your family. God bless you. Message: Hello Rangers.

The Christmas Holiday Season is just ahead and in the spirit of giving, we ask that you remember the US Mountain Ranger Association. We operate solely on donations and those donations are used for the benefit of the Ranger Community. As a reminder, we give away two $1000.00 scholarships each year at Critter Cookout to sons, daughters, grandsons and grand daughters of Rangers. In addition the USMRA provides holidays gift baskets and support for Easter, Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas to deserving Ranger families. Your gift will allow the USMRA to continue this effort.

Any amount is appreciated and will be acknowledged.

Please send your check donations to USMRA P.O. Box 201, Dahlonega, Georgia 30533

Make the check payable to USMRA.

There is also a PayPal button on the home page where you can electronically support the USMRA by a credit card donation. This is about as painless and simple as it gets. Please use the gift or friend selection in PayPal, so we can avoid any fees. All transactions are monitored and handled by the USRMA Treasurer. Thank you very much. Rangers Lead The Way!
