Message: It is a small world. Went to give blood last Friday, the nurse who drew my blood had an active duty husband (NCO with TAB) in the 75th at Savannah. Then, today, while I was doing my laundry, I met another Ranger and his wife. He got the TAB in 1988.

Message: On behalf of the officers of the U S Mountain Ranger Association, we wish all Rangers and their families a Merry Christmas and a healthy and happy New Year.

It is unusually warm here in the mountains this year, as it seems that the cold weather comes later and later each fall. Our mountains are somewhat scarred by the fires, but Nature is beginng to recover her beauty, and it won't be long until the birth of the new year brings forth new hope. Please pause to remember those we have lost from the Association the past year.

Happy Holidays to all! RLTW
