FYI, on Monday 9/15 at 8:00 PM there is a program on the NGEO channel entitled "Brothers In War". It is about C Company 4th Bn 47th Inf 9th Infantry Division. The main part of the story evolves around a battle of 19 June 1967. Alpha Company was nearly wiped out that day. I became the Commander of Alpha Company 7 months later. There were still a few survivors of that battle. I knew most of the officers mentioned in the program. I joined the 4/47 in July of 67 and was not part of the original group. At any rate, it is a good first hand account. I learned more from that program than I learned from the guys in the Battalion. (The program aired earlier this year). For those of you who watch, let me have your thoughts.
