We got to talking and he went through the Ranger course when I was an instructor. He was called and I just managed to give him my name and Email address. I hope he gets in touch. Nice to have another Ranger in the neighborhood. |

Posted: 12/31/1969 Name: Ross Hall Message: Three overriding considerations for the Critter Cookout. One, reduce or negate the riff-raff walk-ons (wives are up to you). Two, be able to access civilization with relative ease. Three, make it the same day as the Open House for as many Rangers to get there as possible. One conclusion. The Key at the end of the airfield. Penn Cove is great, but parking is a real problem, as is getting monster RVs out there. The Key is easy for Rangers to get to, hard for civilians, it's close to home, and it's got great parking, plenty of trees and a big open area. Not Penn Cove, but not bad, either. My two cents. |
