Message: Jim : The meeting will be on Thursday, May 2, 2013. The "Fish Fry" will be on Friday, May 3rd and the "Critter Cookout" on Saturday, May 4th. I may or may not make the meeting but I plan to be at the "Fish Fry" with some freshly made cheese biscuits to go with the trout. I will be making the biscuits at my niece's place in Decatur and rushing them to the Overhang while they are still warm from the oven. I will be doing something for the "Critter Cookout" but have not decided on what. Watch the curves on the road not the curves on the local gals. RLTW

Message: Owen : Saw a picture on the internet - that is a nice looking ride. Tempting too! However, I guess I will stick to my Jeep. Too old and set in my ways to switch to two wheels now. Have fun. RLTW

Message: Over the weekend, I learned of the passing of one of our own. Ranger (Master Sergeant) Earl Louis Irelan passed away on 23 June in Paris, Tennessee. He was 83 years old. Ranger Irelan was a well respected Ranger Instructor at Camp Merrill back in the 1970's. He served three tours in Vietnam. He was a role model for all who knew him as he always demonstrated a positive attitude that was inspiring and uplifting to those around him. He will be missed. RLTW!

Message: One weekend is about the same as another to me. The open house doesn't have much for me, so the main thing for me is the critter cookout. That's the thing I look forward to. Location isn't all that important to me either, just as long as I can find it. All I care about is the opportunity to see some people that mean a lot to me.
