Posted: 07/23/2023 Name: Bob Suchke Message: It is with great sadness that I inform you that Pat McDonald, wife of Ranger Roger L. (MAC) McDonald, passed away yesterday at Piedmont Cartersville Medical Center. Visitation and funeral will be held at Sam Jones Methodist Church, 100 W Church St. in Cartersville GA, 30120. Both will take place this upcoming Wednesday, 26 July 2023. The visitation will be from 11am to 1pm, with the funeral right after, beginning 1pm. Any and all who knew and loved her are welcome to come to either or both of these events. She will be interred in the Georgia National Cemetery, located at 1080 Veterans Cemetery Rd, in Canton, GA 30114. No date as yet announced for the burial.) RLTW! |

Posted: 06/16/2023 Name: Bob Williams Message: Several of us had the privilege of meeting with Stephen Johnstone and members of the Children of the American Revolution on Wednesday evening. Stephen, along with Mission 22 representative, Marty Devine put together the recent Hero Hill Climb conducted on Memorial Day. It was a walk, run, bike event from Camp Merrill to Cooper Gap honoring our fallen veterans. The USMRA was chosen as a benefactor of a portion of the proceeds raised at the event. We appreciate the hard work in conducting the event and the generosity in presenting a sizable donation to the association. |

Posted: 06/13/2023 Name: Bob Suchke Message: Fellow Rangers and Associates: Your response to the Foundation’s request for support in its effort to preserve the Ranger Memorial has been overwhelming! Thanks to Patriots like you, we appear to be gaining some momentum. The following copy of the letter mailed to Speaker McCarthy and Chairman Rogers last month includes an updated list of endorsements. We invite you to distribute the protest letter widely and are grateful for any additional endorsements we can garner. Please email Molly@RangerMemorial.org if you’d like to be added to the growing list of supporters. Monetary donations are also greatly appreciated and can be made by going to www.nationalrangerfoundation.com. Moving forward, we will post weekly updates of the list of endorsements to that same website. Immediately, we’re seeking a Congressional inquiry into the matter and are hopeful we can get an injunction to halt the defacement.
