I'm late on the post but the 3rd Annual Mountain Ranger October Feast was a great success. Thanks to everyone who contributed and participated. We conducted the first MRE Cook Off since around 2004. We had five brave warriors show off their culinary skills. The contestants took home $1500 in prize money.

Message: I want to thank the MRA for it's donatio n to our team in order to assist the victims in NC. Yesterday we left Dahlonega and did 3 welfare checks. 2 in cashiers,NC and one in Hendersonville. They We're all OK. The team cut several trees out of roads and driveways, and we gave out water, fuel and used generators to help charge cell phones and plug in Refrigerators. Today we will attempt to get to chimney rock.
